Reimagining Care/Work Policies

Sadie K. Goddard-Durant is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology and a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Professor Andrea Doucet in her Research Lab for Visual and Narrative Methods at Brock University. Sadie holds a PhD in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Guelph. Her research-practice focuses on: examining how Black women successfully navigate gendered, racialized, neocolonial and neoliberal structures and systems which become embodied as everyday individual distress; translating that knowledge into programs and policies which better account for these daily lived experiences; and facilitating this research using decolonial, anti-racist, Black feminist lens, and creative qualitative methods.
