Reimagining Care/Work Policies

Dr. Kate Paterson is a queer educational consultant based in Calgary, Alberta. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia and a master’s degree in Social Justice and Equity Studies from Brock University. Her work focuses on the intersections of disability theory, decolonial theories, queer, trans, anti-racist and abolitionist perspectives in elementary education. Kate’s expertise is in educational policy and the broader queer/trans necropolitical landscape of public education schooling systems.
