Martha Friendly wins prestigious award for research policy contributions

Martha Friendly, Founder and Executive Director of the Childcare Resource and Research Unit has won the prestigious Charles Taylor Prize for Excellence in Research Policy.

Since the 70’s, Martha has been a leading and well-recognised voice in campaigning and advocating for high quality, universal child care in Canada.

As a policy researcher, Martha has published books, journal articles and book chapters, written many policy documents and reports on early learning and child care, and has also been interviewed in the media numerous times. To read more about Martha, click HERE
